I study hospitality at Cornell, which is a stranger path into AI products than it sounds — it is a degree in what happens when a system meets a person who is tired, busy, and not interested in your interface.

That is most of what I do at Sidekick. We build an AI assistant for frontline hotel teams, and the hard part was never the model. It was that a general manager will not open a dashboard mid-shift. Twenty-odd discovery calls later, the thing that moved conversion was context-aware deployment logic — meeting the property where it already was rather than asking it to come to us.

Alongside that I build my own tools (Sightline, Approval Fabric), run research I am not being paid to run (PopulationLab, which produced a negative result I am genuinely proud of), and shoot. The photography is not a separate hobby so much as the same instinct: go where the light is difficult and come back with something legible.

Before Cornell I spent four years scaling a business-and-blockchain education nonprofit to 27 countries, co-founded a climate collective that raised $60K and put 1,400 people in a room, and represented 9,000 students to a school board.
